HyperPower have many peripheral device what communicates through RS485 protocol. They grant to manage, in base of the product kind, analogic inputs and outputs through serial line (that could be converted with appropriate converters). There are 2 kinds of I/O modules in RS485, plus an expander.

 

CMH088               : Input/Output module with 8 inputs and 8 outputs        

CMH008               : 8 inputs expander for CMH088

CMH8OUT         : 8 outputs module

 

In case of CMHPASW presence, to be seen from the system (because of the normal PC are not equipped with RS485 ports), will be necessary needed a RS485-USB converter for each created RS485 branch. As second option  could be use a CMH9000board to convert the communication from RS485 to TCP-IP protocol.

For each RS485 branch could be connected up to 30 peripheral devices, according to the phisycal limits of the CMH8P and CMHPASW systems (128 boards, 3072 read sensors).
