GROUND CONDITIONS AND INSTALLATION OF THE BARRIER : · It is necessary, to have a correctly working barrier, that the terrain has to be flat, to prevent possible dead zones or areas with no detection. · It is necessary to have the sector more clean as possible, to prevent eventuals false alarms. In ideal condition the microwave lobo has a width of 6mt, the minimal reccomanded corridor width is at least 2,5/3m · In case of closed perimeter is suggested, to prevent any possible interference, to use an odd number of barriers, to have in the corners only TX or RX pillars. If this is not possible, in the corner with two different kind of barriers put TX as far as possible from RX (suggested at least 10mt) · During the mounting of the basement on the square concrete is suggested to have more concrete as possible in front of basement itself, to reduce the possible causes of plexiglass dirtying (expecially mud), that can blind the first IR beam. SUGGESTED CABLES : SYNCRO CABLE : Is strongly suggested a cable for outside twisted and shielded, to prevent dispersions or signal interferences. CONTACTS : Suggested a cable for outside CAT5/CAT6 Is it suggested to lie the data cables (Syncro) as far as possible (at least in different pipes) from power cables (220V or other on the field) to prevent any possible interference on them. BARRIERS ALIGNMENT : For a faster alignment is possible the use of two multimeters, if two people are aligning. Create a parallel connection between the two testers with two common wires, and put one of the multimeters in IMN240 Test Points, and the other in front of the TX pillar. Don’t put the multimeter probles in the IMN240TX.
