WHAT IS : CMH8OUT module could be connected, by serial line RS485, to managing platform Hyper Power and to analisys board interfaces of CMH9000 series (ABSOLUTE, DAVE, PER), giving 8 open collector to the system.

CABLINGS AND OUTPUTS : Power supply clamps are indicated as V+ e V– on the 4pin connector of the CMH8OUT. On same side there are the connectors of the RS485 H e L.  The reference is opto isolated from (-) reference of the main supply.

A 10 pin connector allows the cabling of the 8 OC outpus (with negative reference), the outputs are active in case of presence of positive (the relative LED lights in ON when the output is active). Each output have a maximun capacity of 500mA. As PnP output there is a positive signal determined from V+ power supply. If there are connected inductive devices (as relays) is necessary to connect in parallel  to the device a protection diod.

CONFIGURATION : The dip selection allows the configuration of RS485 serial data line, for what concerns speed and board address.

· Dips from 1 to 5 must be select trough binary code to configure the output module address from 1 to 32 bit number 1 is the less heavy bit.

· Dips 6 and 7 configure the communication speed of the serial line. This must be the same for all the modules on the line and the same of the one programmed on COM0 setup, in CMH9000 web browser. If it’s all correct the 2 red LEDS must be in ON . Otherwise there is some problem on the communication.
