Be careful to not have moving objecs (doors, awinings, brushes, trees..) in the middle f the sector, consisting in the lobo created by the microwave for its detection work

Have a look also to the kind of terrain. If there’s grass it’s important to cut it regularly to prevent interferences with microwave signal. There also must not be slopes o terrain deformities, to prevent zones not covered by the microwave

Pay attention to the position from  the center of the lobo and eventual metallic fences that could interfere with normal microwave working. To avoid that these reflection or movements shall generate false alarms place the two microwave units (TX adn RX) sufficiently distant from the fence. If possible put them not parallely to the fence itself can help the system working well.

Distance from TX to RX determin the widthness of the lobo where the intrusion will be detected (with the consequent alarm generated by the RX microwave) The Height of the antenna always influence the widthness of the lobo. The ideal height for a MESDAVE200 Antenna from the ground is 1m +/- 5%

A parameter that must be always considered when a microwave must be installed is the dead zone that it creates and that is locaded nearby the two microwave units. To prevent the dead zones is suggested to create  overlaps on the corners to protect. The miminal overlap must be at least 3-5mt (according to the sensitivity) and from the height of the antenna from the ground.

When an installation is made is suggested to made it always with an even number of mirowaves (TX+RX) to correcty close the periemeter. In the overlaps is strongly suggested to place only two TX or two RX heads. Two overlapped microwaves must have different transmission channels to prevent intereferences. MESDAVE200 is provided with 4 different transmission channels.

With the related regulation trimmer located on the receiver microwave is possible to set the microwave sensitivity to let it able to detect different objects dimensions that are in the microwave detection area. A microwave set with a high sensitivity creates a bigger lobo than a low sensitivity one, that reduces it. The introduction of the same object determin a % change of the received signal by the microwave. The same happens when the same object enters in front of a microwave or in the middle of the sector.
